VIII Silk Road Trade Fair: ABA Uzbekistan participation and new prospects for cooperation

On August 21, 2025, the VIII Exhibition of Goods of the Silk Road Countries was held in CAEx in Tashkent, which became an important platform for strengthening trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and China.

Representatives of the Automobile Business Association of Uzbekistan (ABA Uzbekistan) were among the participants. The Association took an active part in the panel session devoted to the analysis of the automobile market. A representative of ABA Uzbekistan presented the activities of the organization, its goals and objectives, and also outlined the key trends in the development of the country's automotive industry. Special attention was paid to the segments of cars and accessories, including auto parts, components, electric vehicles and innovative solutions in the automotive industry.

One of the significant events of the exhibition was the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between ABA Uzbekistan and the Chinese business consulting structure Huahe International. The document is aimed at expanding partnerships and developing joint projects in the automotive industry.

In addition, B2B negotiation sessions were organized within the framework of the event, during which representatives of ABA Uzbekistan held meetings with Chinese manufacturers and potential partners in the automotive sector.

It should be noted that the exhibition was held with the support of the khokimiyats of the Fergana region, the Gallyaaral district of the Jizzakh region and the city of Yangiyul, as well as leading industry associations of Uzbekistan: the Automobile Business Association, the Association of Manufacturers and Suppliers of Medical Equipment, the Uzcharmsanoat Association, the Exporters Association, and the Association of Chinese Entrepreneurs of Uzbekistan. International structures were also involved in the organization - the Platform for Cross-Border Comparison of Supply and Demand and the Alliance for the Export of Modern Agricultural Technologies.
